Convert a scanned PDF to editable text

Optical character recognition (OCR)

1. Open your scanned PDF (in Acrobat 8 or higher)
2. On upper menu bar, go to "Document"
3. Select "OCR text recognition"/"Recognize text using OCR"
4. Hit OK

After the process is complete, you will be able to select and copy/paste the text into a Word doc, email, or any other doc.* *Remember there may be errors, especially if the original image is not very clean.
