How do I figure out Word 2007?!

The Office Button, the Quick-Access Toolbar, and the Ribbon

Office Button

Basically, this is what used to be the File menu, just souped-up. For more info, check out Microsoft's run-down

Quick Access Toolbar

Shortcuts to oft-used commands, such as Save, Open, Undo, Redo, etc. To customize the toolbar, click on the arrow and check off the commands you'd like available in the toolbar. For further customization, check out Microsoft's tutorial

Ribbon

This, which includes the Quick Access Toolbar, replaces traditional menus that we loved but which Microsoft felt had become too cluttered. The tabs [Home, Insert, Page Layout, References, Mailings, Review, View, and Add-Ons] group related commands together. Home, for example, collects in one group the Clipboard (cut and paste, etc.), Fonts (type, size, case, etc.), Paragraph (line spacing, indents, margins, etc.) and Styles (headings).
